Gerrard Martin isn’t just a name - he’s a force on the track. Born in 2020 during the height of the COVID pandemic, this 4-year-old phenom is already making waves as the youngest driver in his go-kart racing class. From his very first competitive race, where he clinched a podium finish, the signs were unmistakable: big things are coming.

Racing runs deep in the Martin family. Gerrard’s father, Derek Martin, was a professional kart racer who began his own career at age 8 and still competes today. But the legacy goes even further—Gerrard’s late grandfather, Peter Martin, was a titan of South African karting. As a track owner (M&F Bloemfontein) and kart rental pioneer, Peter ignited a passion for motorsport in Derek and countless young South Africans.

Now, Gerrard carries the torch for a third generation, blending heritage with raw, unstoppable potential.
